Position Description
The role holder plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. The individual effectively manages HR-related processes, maintains accurate records, and provides HR/business assistance to employees.
R&Rs
Administrative Support:
Assist in maintaining employee records, both in physical files and electronic databases.
Prepare and update HR documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and policies.
Handle routine HR correspondences
Organize and schedule meetings, interviews, and training sessions as required.
Assist in general office and facilities administration i.e., facilities maintenance, offices consumables purchase and distribution, fleet management etc
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and the company's careers page.
Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates throughout the process.
Assist in new employee onboarding, including preparing orientation materials, conducting paperwork processing, and facilitating orientation sessions.
Employee Relations:
Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Maintain communication channels to foster positive employee relations and address concerns promptly.
Assist in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
Coordinate disciplinary processes and procedures
Benefits and Compensation:
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workman’s compensation, etc
Maintain accurate records of employee leave
Support the annual performance review process by collecting and organizing performance evaluation data.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal processes and procedures
Assist in preparing reports and data for audits, compliance reviews, and surveys.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information and records.
Data Management:
Update and maintain HR databases with accurate employee information, ensuring data integrity.
Generate reports and analytics on HR metrics as needed.
Country Health & Safety Initiative:
Working with the head of HR, assist in the implementation of workplace safety and health programs and ESG initiatives, including tracking and posting OSHA-required data and filing reports.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Studies or Social Sciences from a recognized university
Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field will be an added advantage.
At least 3 years’ progressive work experience in similar positions with related responsibilities
Practical experience in implementing strategies for managing performance, motivation, and change
Familiarity with the National and International Labor Laws
Multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meets deadlines
Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality,
