Operations and Program Liaison Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Operational support for all administrative and finance-related functions:
- Support admin and operations activities related to project implementation, tracking and updating all government filings, including but not limited to work permits, resident permits and re-entry permits for all international staff, as well as business registration, reaccreditation and sectoral clearance.
- Support the Procurement Coordinator in ensuring that all projected related procurements are done in line with agreed timelines and deliverable schedule.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and supporting the organization of project-related travel logistics.
- Support internal and external meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and handling logistics.
- Participate in training sessions, provide administrative support at workshops and networking events, or activities to build professional skills and relationships. Support includes participant registration, venue setup, post-event follow-up, and network.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information, adherence to CI policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Assist the finance team with monthly bank reconciliation, organizing files, scanning,g and filing of financial documents.
- Assist in tracking benefits to communities, such as VSLA program monitoring.
- Support the periodic monitoring of project progress.
- Assist with field visits when required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is based in Monrovia, Liberia.
- The role will require adaptability, as field conditions and may involve working in rural or remote areas at some point.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Academic Background: Working towards the completion of a Bachelor's degree or a recent graduate in the following fields of study: Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Have a basic understanding of procurement, admin support, and general office management skills.
- Good Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Fieldwork Willingness: Willingness to participate in fieldwork, including travel to rural or remote areas.
- Administrative Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
