We are looking for a seasoned Operations Associate with solid experience in project management to collaborate closely with our Operations Manager. In this role, you will partner with various business units to implement scalable solutions, drive operational efficiency, and manage strategic projects that support our business goals. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to oversee projects from start to finish, optimizing resources, streamlining workflows, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks with precision are essential for success in this position.
Job Purpose
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, define project goals, set timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- The types of projects range from large to small and could typically be operational process improvement in cross-functional areas, regulatory assessments, and implementation, due diligence for outsourced services, sustainability initiatives, and implementation of IT systems, among others.
Operational Support
- Support day-to-day operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes across the business.
- Collaborate with departments to document workflows, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Work closely with various departments, to ensure alignment and integration of operations.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency, and work with cross-functional teams to implement.
- Utilize data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Data Management and Reporting
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for CFM stakeholders.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, Experience & Skillset
- Professional qualification and/or project management certification would be advantageous.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations and/or project management roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of operations management, process improvement, and project management principles.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Flexible & dynamic, self-motivated, results-driven, ability to deal with change.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Comfortable with IT systems
