Needs analysis and learning objectives:

  • Conduct needs analysis working with subject matter experts to identify the target audience, learning gaps and the desired competencies.
  • Define clear, measurable, and competence-based learning objectives, applying relevant learning theories to enhance learning.
  • Analyze the learning context considering available technology, language, time constraints and access.

Curriculum content design:

  • Develop a comprehensive curriculum outlining modules, topics, activities and formats. Consult with subject matter experts.
  • Facilitate a collaborative process with subject matter experts to design engaging and interactive materials and content (writing lessons, scripts, case-studies, visual design, scripting videos).
  • Select and integrate appropriate learning technologies, aligned with the software of the Digital Campus and structure content for optimal learning (instructional design models).
  • As needed, design for blending online and offline activities.

Activity and assessment design:

  • Design interactive learning activities (discussions, peer learning, quizzes, assignments).
  • Develop assessments to measure competency.
  • Integrate formative and summative assessments to measure learner’s progress and feedback.

Course delivery:

  • Pilot test the learning experience with a small group of learners, and update accordingly.
  • Provide learner support and facilitate a supportive learning community.

Evaluation and upgrades:

  • Use surveys, interviews and analytics to collect and analyze learner feedback in evaluation reports.
  • Analyze the formative and summative assessment and manage the certification process.
  • Use evaluation data and learner feedback to iterate and improve the learning experience.
  • Maintain detailed records of the design process.

Facilitate engagement on the Digital Campus:

  • Work with project members and partners to develop and maintain dashboards, group pages, community engagement, discussions, course pages, event calendars and other available features on the Digital Campus.
  • Develop learning support systems for online and in-person training, workshops and webinars, while curating resources and content on the Digital Campus.
