- Ensure safe and punctual transport of personnel, partners, materials and equipment related to the project
- Respect planned itineraries and ensure the application of road traffic rules in all circumstances
- Maintain professional and courteous behavior towards passengers and external contacts
- Carry out regular checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order (oil levels, tires, brakes, battery, etc.)
- Carry out basic mechanical repairs and report more complex maintenance needs to the project coordinator
- Ensure the interior and exterior cleaning of the vehicle to guarantee its presentation and hygiene
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs and inspections
- Participate in the logistical management of field missions, including the loading and unloading of equipment
- Check transported equipment to ensure its safety and good condition
- Assist with route preparation and travel planning in coordination with the team
- Ensure that all vehicle documents (insurance, registration, maintenance booklet) are up to date
- Complete vehicle logbooks, including information on mileage, fuel consumption and missions carried out
- Comply with internal vehicle and equipment management procedures
- Identify and report promptly any mechanical problems or safety hazards
- Ensure that vehicles are equipped with the necessary safety tools and equipment (fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, etc.)
- Anticipate risks related to road and weather conditions when traveling in rural or isolated areas.
