WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships across various industrial markets. The role combines business development, account management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable sales growth, market insights, and customer value.
Duties will include the following:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across industries and applications
  • Grow existing accounts by introducing new solutions, products, and services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales and growth strategies, including pricing within defined frameworks
  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer developments on a monthly basis
  • Contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitor activities and customer feedback
  • Lead and support the Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring early alignment with Supply Chain
  • Provide operational guidance and support to Customer Service Officers
  • Evaluate and improve the distribution channel portfolio where needed
  • Provide input into broader sales and market strategies
  • Follow up on customer outstanding payments in collaboration with Credit Management

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in industrial markets (e.g. textiles, construction, polymers, plastics, fertilizers, crop protection, rubber, etc.)
  • Proven experience in business development and growing customer accounts
  • Strong analytical mindset with a commercial and entrepreneurial approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively
