About The Role

At BASF we are entering an exciting time within our Agriculture business with an existing portfolio of world class products and a pipeline of new products that will bring significant benefits to the agriculture industry.

As a Broadacre Agronomy & Innovation Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing programs to drive market development and establish a strong agronomic positioning for the BASF portfolio in the field. Additionally, you will provide agronomic & technical information, training, demonstration, and assistance in resolving complaints to support the Broadacre business.

How You Will Do It

  • Facilitate the introduction and launch transition of BASF products into the market.
  • Provide product information, label updates, and agronomic results to key contacts and BASF team members.
  • Develop protocols and initiate trials to improve product use & answer agronomic questions.
  • Provide feedback on market opportunities for existing portfolio and potential new products.
  • Provide agronomic link between R&D and the marketplace.

What We Look For

To be successful in this role, you’ll possess the skills to interpret and translate technical data into compelling messaging that promotes our technology and products. Effective communication will be second nature to you, enabling you to cultivate and influence relationships with strategic partners.

You will:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Agricultural Science / Agronomy or equivalent / relevant technical / agronomic experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities whilst keeping various stakeholders up to date.
  • Be customer focused and able to work autonomously to reach goals and deadlines.
  • Be proactive and adaptable.
