WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We are seeking an experienced EHS & Responsible Care professional to lead and coordinate all aspects of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Responsible Care (RC) Codes 0–10, and Occupational Medicine & Health Protection on site. In this role, you will manage the site’s RCMS framework, ensure regulatory and BASF compliance, and drive continuous improvement in safety, health, environmental protection, and emergency response.
Duties will include the following:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of all RC Codes and ensure site-wide compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and BASF standards
- Oversee EHS governance processes including management reviews, site inspections, audits, incident reporting, corrective actions, and action tracking
- Coordinate and deliver EHS-related training, awareness initiatives, emergency response drills, and safety programs
- Support product stewardship, transport & distribution safety, occupational safety, environmental protection, process safety, and security management
- Manage occupational health processes including medical surveillance, health risk assessments, wellness initiatives, and OMHP audit readiness
- Develop and maintain site emergency response, crisis management, and fire protection concepts
- Ensure accurate reporting of EHS, RC, energy, environmental and incident data to authorities and BASF systems
- Maintain records for permits, waste, emissions, monitoring programs, security requirements, and information protection compliance
- Prepare departmental budgets, monitor expenditure, and achieve quality and performance targets
- Provide regular EHS reporting to site leadership and partner with the Managing Director on all EHS matters
- Support site projects as required and perform any additional EHS‑related duties
WHAT YOU OFFER
- 5 - 8 years experience working in generalist EHS environment
- National Diploma or equivalent in EHS Management
