We are seeking a professional like you to join the industrial formulators team. In this role you will be responsible for the management of our distribution sales channel for Industrial Formulators (EMI) US/Canada market. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth through our distribution channel, achieving business objectives, and further developing relationships with distribution partners in the region. You will focus on developing and driving the overall long-term strategy while also managing the day-to-day operations. With key focus on achieving long-term business objectives, profitable growth, and our brand elevation to ensure BASF is recognized as the supplier of choice for distributors and our customers.

- Serving as the primary interface with our distributors as you deliver profitable organic growth from the distribution sales channel.
- Establishing and implementing the overall regional distribution sales growth strategy
- Managing distributor conflict/channel conflict by professionally challenging the status quo
- Building deep customer and distributor relationships across multiple levels, both in BASF and end-customers.
- Analyzing trends to meet customer needs by leveraging the BASF portfolio with distribution partners.
- Delivering sales growth will be essential as you will own aggressive growth targets for market development and new business development. While ensuring each distributor has a functioning and satisfactory target pipeline and sales funnel.
If you...
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (preference for Business Administration or Chemistry degree). MBA is a plus.
- Bring minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and/or distribution management.
- Have a successful track record of sales growth and margin management with increased responsibilities.
- Bring successful track record of strategy development and implementation.
- Possess the ability to develop and cultivate relationships with Senior/ Executive Management internally and externally.
- Have the ability to develop and cultivate new business, are able to form and manage across organizational layers and functions.
- Are able to lead people and teams without direct authority.
- Have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

Pay transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $140,800 - $176,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
