WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Take ownership of our logistics service provider relationships and help our team as a Senior Vendor Manager to deliver reliable, compliant and cost-efficient transport solutions worldwide.

  • In this role, you manage performance and contract adherence of LLP/3PL partners with a focus on market orientation and trade lane optimization.
  • You drive continuous improvement in transportation management and service provider operations to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Also, to ensure risk and compliance management, you align operations with BASF standards and regulatory requirements across all relevant dimensions.
  • Moreover, you act as key interface to finance-related units to support cost control and ensure transparency as well as alignment in LLP service budgeting.
  • Lastly, you represent the LLP partnership internally, facilitating collaboration with other units such as Logistics Procurement and supporting project implementation.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • several years of experience in transport or supply chain management, ideally in an international context
  • advanced knowledge of supply chain operations and transport management, including distribution strategies, import/export processes and transport security
  • strong analytical and presentation skills, with solid expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint and SAP R/3 (TM and COBALT)
  • excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and service providers

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Gross annual salary (full-time): 65.000 – 69.000€, depending on qualification and work experience
