Supply Chain Manager, Agricultural Solutions

The Supply Chain Manager is considered the BASF Agricultural Solutions custodian to lead AP Supply Chain operations to meet Demand & Business objectives & Steer AP Business Strategy to improve efficiency and process optimization & cost reduction policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing & Steering AP SC Business operations by developing and monitoring AP supply chain strategy and improving efficiency and focusing on process optimization & cost reduction policies
- Managing Product availability & Supply to meet Demand & Business objectives & achieve Customer satisfaction
by means of efficient:
• Order Processing: to ensure effective customer order processing, by means of efficient warehouse management, human resource and material coordination, in keeping with corporate procedures and customer satisfaction standards, in order to reach the corporate development objectives.
• Inbound Logistics management: managing the preparation of all documents to support Logistics & shipment clearance process in line with updated Egyptian laws.
• Warehouse management: optimize warehouse day to day operations & Managing 3rd party & Service provider.
• Ensuring supply chain processes meet legal requirements and compliance guidelines & maintaining Operational performance and transparency within key Supply chain processes.
• Collaborating Effectively: coordinating closely with Business Unit and other business functions to support & create coordinated plans for business planning & growth.
• Artworks Management: Designing and assuring BASF guidelines over the label aligned with each country regulation & in the set timeline in coordination with Global artwork technical.
• Act as a Counterpart for the European Supply Chain regarding development of new concepts & tools.
• Supervise, Train & Guide the SC team to ensure team knowledge for new tools, updates, and SC concepts.
- Manage the Region S&OP process: To lead and manage the S&OP process in the region, in collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Regulatory departments, in order ensure product availability (Planning production, stock management); Provide SC KPI reports, and ensures that market dynamics provided by marketing and sales team is incorporated in the forecasting figures, ensuring creating and maintaining forecast figures in IBP accordingly with the integrated planning process
- Accountable for the implementation & testing for all new projects or tools related to Supply chain digitalization & process enhancement (SAP HANA, CORE2E, E invoicing …)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in in operative supply chain or related business functions.
- Excellent IT Literacy level (SAP ERP APO/IBP, BW System, MSOffice, Databases, PowerPoint…)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
