At BASF, careers develop from opportunities. In Hungary we are looking for an Application Technician – at the new BMW site in Debrecen. Our future colleague will win our customers through application-focused technicial support. We offer relocation support, and technical training in Germany.

TASKS

• Located directly in the plant of our customer BMW Debrecen and act as a direct contact & technical support in the plant,
• Solve technical problems and deal with complaints,
• Ensure support for current and new products including product changes and consultancy at the customer’s site,
• Monitor local competitors,
• Keeps in touch with customers. Holds presentations, makes demonstrations and trains customers, dealers and prospects on products and techniques,
• Compiles reports and ensures direct flow of communication to in-house units.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Chemical and/or Engineering related major or experienced in the Paint industry,
• Preferred technical or customer service experience in automotive spray paint (an advantage),
• Advanced IT user skills,
• Initiative, customer oriented, communicative abilities,
• English proficiency in both speaking and writing
• Fluent in Hungarian
