= Objectives =
• Relationship owner of and main communicator to the assigned account(s) in Asia Pacific with primary objective to capture profitable growth for emerging markets.
• Deliver long term business plan based upon portfolio leveraging and innovation in accordance with the assigned regional, local and international key accounts (IKA) strategy.
• Develop new local key account business in Greater China as assigned.

= Main Tasks =
• Responsible for the overall sales process, aim to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets
• Provide accurate sales forecast, supporting efficient planning of products and services
• Be accountable and responsible for pricing (execution) and financials for the assigned account(s)
• Take ownership of the account(s), including the development, adjustment and execution of the regional account strategy in collaboration with the respective business unit(s), and ensure alignment with global key account strategy
• Influence decision-makers in a complex environment within and outside BASF at all levels, and drive actions/decisions even without disciplinary responsibility
• Develop and maintain strategic long-term business relationships with the assigned account(s) (all decision-makers) to promote brand value
• Utilize product application knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of entire customer and market value chain to anticipate market trends
• Drive business growth by coordination the innovation process including fast track portfolio selling projects
• Serve as a liaison between the assigned account(s) and BASF departments to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction

= Job Requirements =
• Bachelor’s degree or Master Degree in Science and/or Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum 10years’ relevant working experience, preferably in a technical service and/or marketing field
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Good understanding of care chemicals product portfolio and related applications
• Experienced in value-based selling
