This position provides discipline leadership and expertise in condition monitoring and reliability engineering principles, through the development and deployment of appropriate systems, processes, guiding principles, training, and coaching. This position is a regional lead position for all things analytics-related.

As a Lead Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting Global Analytics Service Director, with functions relating to troubleshooting, diagnostics, condition monitoring of rotating and stationary systems.
  • Acting as a thought-leader, technical expert and first point of reference for leading practices in using analytics for condition monitoring. External monitoring of standards, best practices, and technologies
  • Engaging with engineering on model improvement.
  • Interacting with analytics team to improve our analytics solution
  • Interacting with CAH development.
  • Assisting with pilots, success stories, POC/POV
  • Training identified staff such as RM&D engineers and Analytics Deployment team.
  • Supporting the RM&D activities.
  • Reviewing all S1 configuration from the point of view of Condition Monitoring/Decision Support for compliance to best practices and assure process and documentation needs are met.
  • Reviewing of Cordant Asset Health configuration.
  • Providing technical support and assistance, as required, to support RM&D engineers when executing Hypercare contract (domain expertise, analytics…) and Analytics deployment team.
  • Supporting training department when required to build material.
  • Exploring the possibility to do some analytics on fixed assets or build any non-standard/customized analytics.
  • Working on certification for Analytics.
  • Providing On-The-Job-Training, coaching, and mentoring of Remote Monitoring &Diagnostics Engineers for certification.
  • Supporting of System 1 & CAH optimization and mentoring of team in this capacity.
  • Participating in the future development of RM&D Services growth strategy for condition monitoring and diagnostic systems. Work cross-functionally, as necessary, in development of global diagnostics & analytics processes and strategies.
  • Leading efforts to ensure customers gain value from BH/OTR Services and BH Analytics solution. Provide VOC feedback to Services leadership and new product development teams.
  • Providing leadership and technical support in liaising with Technology/Engineering teams, towards definition, development and implementation of monitoring system testing and condition monitoring solutions.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have BSME, BSEE, Master of Science or 5-year Engineering degree in a relevant field.
  • Have Strong track record in reliability engineering fundamentals.
  • Have Strong track record of defining and leading a strategic approach towards the application of technical expertise in Condition Monitoring in a complex, matrix structured global resources organization.
  • Have 5+ years of field engineering experience in Machinery Diagnostics, Vibration/Process/Auxiliaries Analysis and Dynamics, operation, reliability, condition monitoring.
  • Have Working knowledge API Standards / API 670 / ISO Standards….
  • Have Demonstrated rotating machinery experience or condition monitoring experience in one or more of industries including but not limited to: power generation, oil & gas, chemical, pulp & paper, mining, or others.
  • Have Understanding of Machinery Design/Operation and demonstrated ability to work on Rotating Machinery (and fixes assets related to those machines) related issues.
  • Have Possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Have a valid passport (or be able to obtain one).
  • Able to read, understand, and follow detailed schematics, assembly drawings, and assembly procedures.
  • Be Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement; able to work independently; ability to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Have Ability to travel up to 30% time India and overseas.
  • Have Computer skills with familiarity with MS Office products.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work overtime.
  • Availability to travel on short notice.
