Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team work to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.

The Project Manager will be responsible for projects and order executions in Korea. This will be for EPC/OEM customers (or Channel partner) assigned by Korea Project management leader.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying proper point of contact in each layer of customer accounts and act as focal point of project execution.
  • Leading kick-off meetings at customer locations, status updates, hosting customer visit/inspection, and carry out project close out as appropriate.
  • Liaising with project factory’s PMs, functional team and Korea Project management/Business Leader share project execution status.
  • Ensuring orders are processed according to ITO-OTR hands off and scope, schedule, and financial of the project are finalized.
  • Delivering on -time in accordance with contract by monitoring project base plan, consulting project PM/OM and fulfilment function in factories.
  • Carrying out project assignments including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project close out according to business process.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor’s or equivalent from an accredited academic institution.
  • Have 5 years' of experience in project management and valves.
  • Be able to travel (up to 30%) domestic and internationally.
  • Have good business and financial acumen including SAP.
  • Be able to speak fluent English and Korean and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
