Partner with the best
You will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, this includes Service Shops. You will contribute in the development of a business plan for the business unit as a whole. You will be involved in discussions with other disciplines about future developments and consequences for the business unit. You will develop a strategic midterm plan for the manufacturing unit based upon the agreed strategic plan for the whole unit.
As a Aftermarket Global Continuous Improvement Leader , you will be responsible for:
Advancing Lean deployment and continuous improvement across the Valves AMC business.
Driving simplification and ensure the strategic goal deployment and Xmatrix is implemented.
Owning and driving daily operational rigor and rhythm across all supporting functions (Engineering, Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Quality).
Identify and mitigate risks across fulfillment to deliver on customer commitments.
Working closely with Quality and Lean Leadership to track and trend KPIs, risk, and quality metrics, and develop and implement CAPA.
Driving improvement through identification and implementation of CAPA. Identify areas that need improvement in terms of efficiency and/or cost.
Reviewing performance reports, aggregate information and develop and distribute Portfolio KPI reports and other data to functions to drive needed change/improvements.
Working closely with People Leaders and organization’s directors to plan effective strategies for the financial results of the portfolio.
Working closely with HQ team to develop, implement, and provide feedback on policies, processes and procedures.
Supporting Monthly Operation Reviews with Operations / Business / Quality /Lean /Engineering
Supporting business rhythm; Long range plan, Operating Plan. Provide input on factory dynamics.
Reviewing financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Contribute to the preparation of operational budgets.
Working closely with Training Manager to drive Order Entry and Project Controller development.
Supporting team members on their job responsibilities and coach to improve performance.
Developing capability growth strategy for direct reports, including schedule management, contract management and project monitoring to ensure PM/OM team is enabled to deliver on customer commitments.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, preferably technical or business qualification.
Have good experience in a manufacturing environment.
Have good experience as a Plant Manager.
Have very good understanding and application of business policies and processes.
Have demonstrated exceptional personnel management experience and leadership capabilities in a highly matrixed environment.
Be skilled at leading in a matrix organization; capable of influencing across the business.
Be willing to travel 10% -25% of the time both domestic and international travel
Have exceptional analytical skills -- financial, qualitative, quantitative, statistics, SAP or similar ERP software.
Have direct customer-facing experience.
Be an exceptionally skilled communicator; professional and tactful in oral and written communications with multiple functions/levels.
Be Lean certified or Six Sigma Blackbelt is preferred.
