The PMO Organization is looking for a resourceful New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager to drive NPI planning for key technologies. Responsibilities will encompass matrix management, reporting, logistic readiness and project management activities. The preferred candidate is a strategic problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate changes, analyze risks, and execute complex mitigation strategies in support of engineering development builds.

NPIs are pivotal to the Industrial Solution’s products. A successful NPI is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.

As a Project Manager, you will be a part of the Industrial Solutions PMO team. You will play an essential role in by coordinating efforts across a wide range of cross functional engineering, manufacturing, product management, services & support teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare comprehensive project execution plans, resource allocation plans, process accountabilities, RACI & governance
  • Lead large, cross-division functional teams or projects that will drive successful products to market to meet business objectives
  • Establish the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommend the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps
  • Track the metrics, evaluate actual performance, and make recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement
  • Evaluate business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives
  • Ensure that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders
  • Drive ramp readiness with product management, engineering, manufacturing & supply chain teams
  • Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams
  • Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality
  • Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization, raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams
  • Create and develop program reports and summaries for executive management in conjunction with team leads across IET Bently Nevada
  • Develop tools and analytics for project reporting, enabling program teams to focus more efforts on problem solving
  • Maintain and assist in driving productive meetings across project teams, providing and following up with action items as necessary
  • Anticipate, plan and coordinate internal logistics/needs across projects and facilities
  • Ensure all stakeholders (Internal and External) are engaged and aligned to the program goals
  • Employ a can-do attitude, taking on any task required to support the team and get things done

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years total experience in strategy planning or project management or operations
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware, firmware, or software engineering
  • Results oriented and attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to present to management
  • Ability to lead multiple, large, time sensitive projects or work streams
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skill
  • Ability to travel up to 30-35%
  • Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Characteristics

  • Advanced university degree required (e.g., MS, MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience

The annual pay scale for this position is between $95,700.00 - $177,700.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found here, and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
