As a Build and Release, drives increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse at a release level. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Adds value to build and release engineering discussions.

As a Build and Release Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the importance of Build and Release as part of development life cycle and with reference to continuous integration process.
  • Understanding the importance of different software environments like Development, QA and Production
  • Demonstrating awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques
  • Understanding data structures and algorithms.
  • Write code using programming as well as scripting languages required for automation and continuous integration.
  • Collaborates with Product Teams to implement end to end Build and Release process for a specific release.
  • Ensure uptime SLA 99.17 and response SLA
  • Configure tools/system to monitor the application and pro-actively

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Associate's Degree, a minimum 2 years of professional experience.
  • Have hands on experience with Azure or AWS operations.
  • Have Experience in deploying and monitoring Kubernetes based applications.
  • Have experience Automating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Have Good experience with GitHub, Python, shell scripting.
  • Have Hands on experience in troubleshooting application in different environments.
  • Have Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Have Experience with Application & Infrastructure Monitoring Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, Nagios, Azure log analytics, log insight.
  • Have Possesses knowledge of network design and troubleshooting tools.
  • Have Understanding on standard networking concept such as DNS, DHCP, subnets, Server Load Balancing, Firewalls.
  • Have hands on experience on Terraform, Bicep, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, NSG, Log Analytics Workspace, Managed Identities, Key Vault etc
  • Have experience with Service Catalogue/Terraform
