Partner with the best

As an ARMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned trucks, ships, and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications. Routinely welds, paints and refurbishes equipment. Conducts mechanical inspections. May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment. Maintains records. Handles special projects, as assigned.

As an ARMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Scoping out work to be performed and objectives of the trip prior to scheduling
  • Obtaining approval on agreed timing required to meet the defined objectives
  • Ensuring all service delivery demand/instructions are documented formally as indicated per eMtJC to drive workshop activities properly and timely via posted shipping date/time (eMtJC Workbooks)
  • Performing a formal Hazard Hunt across workshop, yard & office areas prior to departure
  • Assisting with coaching and execution of 6S wherever possible in the Workshop & Yard
  • Providing summarized trip report (positives & negatives) and required action items (if applicable) to location ARMO Leader and Region AMO Leader
  • Performing functional testing on assemblies
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a minimum of a High School Diploma, Technical diploma in a Mechanical field
  • Have a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience in handling lower completion service tools.
  • Must be mechanically inclined, proficient in reading/interpreting assembly blueprints, following written and verbal work instructions, and excellent troubleshooting skills.'
  • Have basic understanding of the form and function of assembly components will be required as most assemblies are built without drawings or documentation.
  • Have basic written and verbal communication skills
