Be part of the solution

As the Applications Engineer you will be part of the team reviewing and putting together programs, supporting engineers, liaising with regional service delivery co-ordinators for all projects, new and ongoing. You will support the product line by reviewing and identifying equipment, running software, programs, designing spacers and cement slurries. Collaborating with the team ensuring flawless execution, on time delivery and contract adherence for the assigned jobs.

As the Applications Engineer (Cementing), you will also be responsible for:

• Providing technical expertise and developing technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) whilst interfacing with the integrated solutions group and the product line
• Helping Design a job program, including risk mitigation plans and contingency plans that can meet the client's objective.
• Conducting Technical analysis for definition and optimization of the products; scope); schedule; industrial scheme; cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures. Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency.
• Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
• Documenting accurately any calculations, simulations, plan revisions or changes during the project.
• Working across technologies and developing cross-technology solutions; working cross functional teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have considerable Offshore or operational experience in cementing preferably high pressure and high temperature and/or related services
• Have some experience in customer application engineering
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Be able to collaborate in initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
• Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate effective problem identification and solution skills.
• Proven analytical and organizational ability.
