As the Service Delivery Field Manager, you will manage the service delivery of our downstream chemicals team in Canada. You will be responsible for ensuring that Baker Hughes maximizes its short- and long-term revenue and profit opportunities. You will ensure flawless execution, on-time delivery, contract adherence and cash collection. You will identify sales opportunities through an understanding of customers’ needs and requirements. As Service Delivery Field Manager in Downstream Chemicals, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all activities are carried out according to our non-negotiables and our cultural pillars
- Identifying, recruiting, onboarding, developing, and retaining key employees to represent Baker Hughes Downstream Chemicals in a professional manner, and deliver unprecedented value to the industry
- Managing the P&L and operating budget to plan for the area • Managing and overseeing Downstream Chemical operations in Canada to provide support and guidance to our customers
- Reviewing work activities, job programs and design through collaboration with the sales team and understanding client’s requirements
- Managing and developing your team to ensure effective planning, sharing knowledge and to encourage success
- Maintaining internal compliance and HSE standards to ensure a safe working environment • Building long-term strategic relationships with customers to originate sales opportunities and develop strategies for business growth
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree and demonstrable experience in refinery operations or sales or industrial process, water, finished fuels, engineering or service / or 5 years of refinery or industrial experience
- Have experience as a people leader managing a complex team
- Demonstrate business acumen and ability to ensure product delivery & value for our customers
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal teams and customers
- Show the ability to lead and coordinate several projects simultaneously in a global-matrix organization
- Have an understanding of HSE standards, a clear understanding of the compliance and reporting requirements associated with the flawless execution of a Perfect HSE Day
- Have experience with managing Profit and Loss statements along with an understanding of factors that influence key metrics within a Profit and Loss statement
- Have a sound understanding of the geographic area, and direct knowledge of the customer base
