ARC Ride is at the forefront of the e-mobility revolution sweeping across Africa,
leading the charge to enable the mass adoption of Affordable, Reliable, and
Clean transportation. This is based on our market-leading battery-as-a-service
(BaaS) infrastructure solution that is driving the transition to clean two and
three wheel mobility systems in Africa.
The Role:
We’re looking for a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager who will act as a
bridge between our business and technology teams, translating real-world
needs into clear technical requirements and driving execution.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, gather and define business
requirements, define project scopes, map workflows, and turn complex ideas
into actionable plans. From organising team priorities to tracking milestones
and clearing roadblocks, you’ll guide projects end-to-end while keeping
everyone aligned and informed.
Please note this role requires the candidate to be onsite at our headquarters
in Nairobi.
What You’ll Do:
● Act as the glue between business and technology teams.
● Engage with stakeholders to capture needs, challenges and goals.
● Convert high-level business goals into clear specifications for technology
and data teams.
● Map workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
● Serve as the point of contact between business stakeholders and technical
teams, ensuring clarity and understanding.
● Support light project management - track progress, manage dependencies,
and help keep delivery on schedule.
● Facilitate communication across stakeholders, provide updates, and ensure
everyone is aware of priorities, decisions, and next steps.
What We’re Looking For:
● 4+ years in business analysis, project management, or a similar role -
primarily within a technology-driven environment.
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree/PhD in Information Systems, Computer
Science, or a related field (ability to translate business needs to technical
requirements is required). Advanced degrees are a plus. Significant industry
experience will be considered in place of a degree.
● Proven ability to gather and document requirements, create user stories,
and manage product backlogs.
● Familiarity with business process mapping, software development
processes, workflow design, and defining requirements.
● Comfortable working with technology and data teams.
● Tools: Experience with PM tools such as ClickUp, Jira or similar collaboration
tools is a plus.
● Soft skills: strong communicator, clear writer, organised, and confident
facilitator of cross-team discussions.
● Mindset: proactive, curious, and resourceful - someone who finds solutions.
● Advanced/technical English required. French or Mandarin would be a plus.
● Attentive to detail.
