ARC Power is seeking an experienced ARC Manager to lead our ARC Team in Rwanda, ensuring the effective design, installation, operation, and optimisation of ARC systems while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Role Overview

As ARC Manager, you will oversee all technical and operational aspects of ARC deployment in Rwanda, including:

  • Leading and managing the ARC Team, ensuring effective task allocation, training, and performance.
  • Overseeing ARC site selection, design, documentation, installation, and commissioning.
  • Implementing operations & maintenance strategies and monitoring ARC performance.
  • Ensuring strong health, safety, and quality compliance across all field activities.
  • Providing technical guidance, training, and support to field teams and operational units.
  • Collaborating with Procurement on materials, supplier evaluation, and ARC-related purchases.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Solar Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams, ideally in solar or power generation projects.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar digital tools.
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Deep understanding of solar energy systems and rural electrification.
  • Field-based operational experience.
  • Valid driving or motorbike licence.
