YOUR ROLE
As a Coordinator, the maintenance activities of equipment, buildings, and facilities are coordinated, ensuring the correct execution of maintenance programs, cost control, updates to the MAINTOOL system, data analysis for failure prevention and cost reduction, compliance with safety standards, and collaboration with production and engineering for equipment installation and improvement.
In your daily job you will:
- Monitor maintenance metrics and ensure compliance with production, safety, and quality standards by achieving goals.
- Follow up on established procedures and apply best maintenance practices.
- Comply with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards, when applicable.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with supervisors according to the established plan.
- Review machinery and equipment problems in coordination with production, ensuring the recording of failures and timely attention.
- Coordinate actions related to quality and safety with other departments.
- Ensure the registration and control of machinery and spare parts inventory and the correct allocation of the budget by area. Monitor maintenance metrics and communicate results to the team.
- Ensure the maintenance of records for the construction, operation, and decommissioning of facilities, in accordance with corporate, legal, and environmental requirements.
- Assign specific tasks to maintenance personnel.
- Define the tools to be used in approved processes and improvement requests.
- Participate in the selection of maintenance service providers and companies.
- Establish controls to ensure the physical safety of personnel and the quality of products.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineer
- +5 years of experience in Maintenance Supervisor positions
- Advanced English
- PLC training
- Knowledge of LCR, Hipot, and Cirris. Knowledge of: crimping, stamping, and welding
- Global Procedure and Management of the Planned Maintenance Manual (PMM)
- Lockout/Tagout
- Electrical and control circuits
- Refrigeration, compressed air, and power generators
- Laser operation
- Working at heights
- Microsoft Office
