YOUR ROLE
As a process engineer on our team, you’ll define the plant's need in terms of Equipment, to support engineering changes and new projects and, responsible for ensuring the acquisition, installation and validation of equipment according to the start-up schedule.
In your daily job you will:
- Lead the team in the installation, validation and continuous improvement actions on the components (Quality, volume, cost) of the processes (ROB, CC, Torque, VM & testing).
- Assist and develop the equipment specifications (ROB, CC, Torque, VM & testing).
- Ensure the availability of equipment at the Start-up date by making the necessary anticipations (alert suppliers, alert the MEC...).
- Ensure the closure of all reliability reporting points under its responsibility.
- Follow up with suppliers and ensure that equipment meets specifications.
- Prepare all documentation concerning newly integrated machines.
- Contribute to the choice of suppliers for the purchase of equipment for the means of production.
- Check the inventory status of the equipment (Running & Idle).
- Regularly attend technical conferences with plant departments (Quality, reliability, maintenance, production, logistics).
- Ensure the Transfer of Equipment under its responsibility in good condition.
- Ensure the sharing of new POS procedures, and ensure their implementation in the factory.
- Ensure that all technical issues raised by the plant are addressed, analyzed, and communicated to the MEC team and the local Owners process team to define technical solutions.
- Follow up with the MEC, the local Owner process team and suppliers until the issues raised are resolved.
- Ensure the development and execution of POS audit plans.
- Ensure that the commit file is communicated within the predefined time frame and that the Capex/Opex forecast is respected.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Bac+5 / Engineering degree in a technical education (or equivalent)
- Advanced English is mandatory
- Knowledge of manufacturing process
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Problem solving techniques
