Administration & Payroll Officer

Your Role:
As Administration and Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing staff administration and payroll activities in accordance with legal and contractual requirements and group procedures. You will also back up other team members in the event of absence, taking on some of their tasks. In your role, you will be responsible for managing the following areas:
Personnel Administration:
Completing mandatory declarations (DPAE, personnel register, etc.)
Monitoring pension files in the event of incapacity, disability, or death
Drafting certificates and HR letters, and organizing the administrative onboarding and offboarding of new employees
Monitoring administrative files (health insurance, pension, etc.)
Monitoring absences (illness, maternity leave, workplace accidents, vacation)
Update personnel files and ensure document compliance
Monitor legal deadlines: trial periods, fixed-term contract renewals, etc.
Payroll management – context: outsourced payroll
Collect and enter variable payroll data
Update HRIS and check data consistency
Manage overtime, advance payments, and garnishments
Check pay slips
Answer questions from employees
Provide support during HR audits
Ensure monthly payroll production via the software
Ensure the reliability of pay slips
Maintain relations with social security organizations and external service providers
Validate payment statements for advances, salaries, and social security contributions with the service provider and the bank in collaboration with team members
Work Time Tracking:
Manage the time clock system (create badges, track anomalies, etc.)
Track absences, paid leave, compensatory time off, flexible schedules, telework, etc.
Support managers by providing information on staff absences
Your Background:
Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources management or equivalent with 3 to 5 years' experience in French payroll management in an industrial environment.
Proficiency in office automation and payroll or personnel management IT systems.
Knowledge of Decidium and eTemptation (Horoquartz) tools would be a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in French payroll.
Strict confidentiality with a sense of integrity and professional awareness.
Availability, rigor, organization, and priority management.
Good language skills in French and English /speaking and writing) as well as good communication skills.
