Your Role

In your daily job you will:

• Lead full lifecycle project management from concept to SOP (Start of Production)
• Develop and manage project schedules, cost plans, and risk assessments
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Manufacturing
• Serve as the main customer contact for project timing, deliverables, and issue resolution
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and present regular status reports to management and global PMO
• Manage design change requests, scope adjustments, and customer communications
• Support program reviews (Gate Reviews) and ensure adherence to APQP processes
• Ensure project documentation (timing plan, BOM, test reports, DFMEA/PFMEA) is maintained and accurate
• Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement activities for future programs

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 preferred)
• Proven experience managing OEM customer projects (Hyundai, Kia, GM, etc.)
• Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, and IATF 16949 processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Project or equivalent project management tools
