Position Summary

As a Cutting System Technician, you will be in charge to Monitor databases and ensure that information is regularly updated according to the company's pre-established procedures.

YOUR ROLE

• Establish the loads (capacity study) of the cutting machines and preparation stations;
• Define the distribution and organization of wires in the pull-rack and tubes at the tube supermarket;
• Update the cutting databases according to the changes and modifications made by the Engineering Department (DAC, DATA);
• Attend feasibility meetings;
• Track wire and tube inventories when changing levels to minimize the amount of obsolete wires and tubes;
• Analyze obsolete wires and tubes, with a view to replacing them with other wires;
• Lead the preparation of new projects and engineering changes
• Ensure compliance with quality, health ,safety and environmental standards.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bac+2 or Bac+3 in Computer Science, Software Development, or related technical field
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English and French.
• Strong problem-solving abilities combined with analytical thinking
• flexibility, reliability and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Computer literacy with technical software proficiency and documentation skills
• Commitment to safety protocols with attention to detail in a manufacturing environment
