This role is within the EDS segment, and you will be joining that segment as it becomes its own entity, with a rich heritage and proven track record as a global leader in low and high voltage power and signal distribution systems. YOUR ROLE
As an ME Engineer, you will ensure the follow-up and control of projects in the serial production phase with regard to compliance with the KMS system and continuous improvement.
In your daily job you will:
- Ensure the right connection between engineering changes and continuous improvement.
- Ensure KMS guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with EOS procedures.
- Promote and participate in KMS activities.
- Ensure the proper conduct of certification audits.
- Ensure reliable data preparation.
- Ensure the proper conduct of certification and customer audits.
- Ensure compliance with procedures.
- Ensure proper management of auxiliaries (control of overtime,...).
- Ensure a good connection with engineering systems /EOS/PFMEA's .
- Ensure the revision of the PFMEA's for engineering changes and application on equipment definitions.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Master's degree / Engineering Diploma in industrial engineering.
- Good problem solving, adaptation and teamwork skills,
- Ability to work under stress and manage various projects.
- Fluency in written and oral communication (English and French).
