Your role:
Acting as an individual contributor, you will lead the development of plastic and metallic components from conception to production, ensuring designs meet quality standards, cost targets, and customer specifications.
This role coordinates cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle while implementing engineering methodologies, risk analysis, and validation processes. The position requires technical expertise in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and CAD software to deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions that align with project timelines and business objectives. In this role you will :
Develop plastic and/or metallic components following established engineering processes and methodologies

Create comprehensive Bill of Design (BOD) and Bill of Material (BOM) supported by:
- Finite element analysis (FEA) results to evaluate strength, durability, and integrity of electrical/mechanical/thermal structures
- Manufacturing expertise to ensure cost-effective and producible designs
- Risk Analysis and FMEA to identify potential failure modes
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) requirements (ISO standard) for proper component fit and function
Lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and market competitiveness
Ensure product validation meets customer requirements and project timelines
Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the product development lifecycle
Utilize CAD software to create detailed mechanical designs and engineering drawings
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to integrate manufacturing constraints before design freeze
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
- Experience in product development and engineering project management
- Proven track record managing complex technical projects from conception to production
- Expertise in CAD software and finite element analysis (FEA)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for plastic and metallic components is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong leadership abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Effective communication skills to interface with stakeholders at all levels as well as the customer
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Innovation mindset with focus on continuous improvement
- Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial
