About the Role
Apollo is seeking a self-motivated Warehouse Manager to join our growing team! In this crucial role, you'll be managing our warehouse operations, working closely with the Logistics & Distribution team to ensure our customers have access to essential agricultural inputs they need, at the right time.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receiving of input, storage of inputs in the warehouse, and managing outgoing distribution of inputs
  • Collaborating with the Logistics and distribution team, to ensure prompt restocking of all SKUs as well as to forecast demand and plan for future inventory needs for all agro-dealers
  • Implementing Apollo logistics and warehouse operational policies and procedures
  • Setting up the warehouse layout and ensuring efficient space utilization
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse
  • Maintaining and ensuring timely updates of documentation and keeping accurate records of inventory movements in both the manual and IMS inventory records and systems.
  • Ensuring proper and safe loading and unloading of Apollo input into and out of the warehouse
  • Agro dealer relationship management. You will be responsible for ensuring good agro dealer experience and maintaining a minimum of 75% rating on AG experience
  • Managing day-to-day warehouse operations e.g. payment document processing for rent, casuals, electric bill, fleet vendor, etc.

Requirements:

  • You should have 3+ years of experience in inventory management and logistics
  • You need to hold a related University Degree qualification from an accredited institution
  • You are expected to establish priorities and multi-task effectively
  • You should be analytical, computer literate, proactive, and a team player
  • You must be a self-starter, someone who takes initiative
  • You need to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email
  • You are required to have a strong work ethic, as you will be responsible for leading the warehouse team during the busy delivery season
  • You should have leadership experience, as the Warehouse Manager will supervise a team of casual laborers
  • You are expected to uphold integrity; you will bear personal responsibility for inputs in the warehouse
  • You need to have working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., ERP).
  • You must have the ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • You should possess an analytical mind with strong math skills
  • You are required to have excellent organizational and planning skills
  • You must demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
