About Our Client

Our client provides integrated energy solutions, combining battery storage and solar systems with its own project and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capability. Alongside equipment distribution, the business delivers complete solutions to agricultural, mining, manufacturing and other commercial and industrial customers, supported by financing options and after-sales support.

Purpose of the Role

Identify and win new business by understanding customers' energy challenges and selling appropriate project solutions. This is an active, customer-facing sales role requiring commercial ability and practical technical understanding, with a focus on complete energy solutions rather than individual product sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new opportunities across agriculture, mining, manufacturing and other energy-intensive sectors.

• Understand customers' electricity costs, power-quality challenges and infrastructure requirements.

• Work with client's technical and project teams to develop suitable solar and battery storage solutions.

• Present project solutions and funding options, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), and convert opportunities into sales.

• Build trusted customer relationships and coordinate internal support, maintaining client's role as a single point of accountability.

Experience and Requirements

• Approximately four to five years of relevant energy-industry sales experience, with flexibility based on proven capability.

• Practical electrical knowledge and an understanding of how energy solutions address customer costs and operational challenges.

• The ability to generate new business and sell directly to end customers; experience in one or more target sectors is valuable.

• A self-starting, customer-focused approach and confidence discussing technical solutions.

An engineering qualification is not essential.
