The Manpower Business Developer plays a key role in expanding AltGen Namibia’s manpower services by identifying, developing, and maintaining business relationships with clients across various sectors. The role focuses on growing the company’s workforce placement portfolio through strategic client engagement, partnership building, and delivery of tailored staffing solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the manpower and recruitment space, has a sharp commercial mindset, and is driven to identify and convert business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manpower and recruitment space.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their staffing needs and workforce strategies.
  • Drive revenue growth through lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team and Business Unit Manager to ensure delivery of high-quality staffing solutions.
  • Analyse market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Prepare and present service proposals, capability statements, and project tenders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and onboarding to account management and after-sales service.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent AltGen and build a strong professional presence.
  • Oversee and respond to RFQs/RFPs, develop tender proposals, and support bid management processes.
  • Track and report on business development metrics, pipeline progress, and client feedback.
  • Contribute to marketing and branding initiatives that position AltGen as a leader in manpower solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in business development, recruitment and manpower solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Proven experience in managing RFQs/RFPs, preparing tender proposals, and supporting bid management processes.
  • Strong understanding of manpower regulations, workforce management, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
