Aerobotics is a Vision AI company helping fruit producers get more yield from farm to table. Our large fruit model is trained on the biggest fruit dataset from around the world, creating a flywheel that continuously improves our product for customers. We started with fruit sizing and expanded into forecasting, grading, and are developing full yield estimation. Our platform delivers accurate, transparent insights across the fruit supply chain.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of Aerobotics’ day-to-day financial operations and help drive the company’s financial strategy as we scale. As the Financial Operations Lead, you'll work closely with the CFO as a key thought partner, supporting strategic decisions and ensuring the business has the financial clarity and controls to succeed. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the financial foundation of a global, fast-paced tech company operating at the intersection of agriculture and AI.

This person is required to be located in Cape Town.

What you’ll do

• Manage the end-to-end financial operations function, including but not limited to: performance monitoring, billing and contracting, tax, treasury and cash management
• Drive the development and execution of financial strategies alongside the CFO and Financial Reporting Lead
• In collaboration with the Legal & Compliance Manager, ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements, across multiple entities in SA and the US
• Engage cross-functionally to provide strategic and operational financial input to stakeholders
• Support CFO with special ad hoc projects as required, including data analysis
• Mentor, develop, and grow a high-performing finance team

What you’ll need

• CA(SA) qualification with 3+ years post articles experience
• Strong technical accounting expertise
• An ability to implement processes and controls
• Comfort with complexity
• High proficiency of data analysis
• A strategic mindset with a hands-on attitude—comfortable switching between detail and big picture
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A team player who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative tech environment
• Experience with managing international, multi-entity tax affairs, including transfer pricing, is a plus
• Previous experience in a fast-growing business is a plus
