Junior Marketing Associate

We are looking for a Junior Marketing Associate to join our Marketing Team in Cape Town.

About Aerobotics

Our mission is to provide intelligent tools to feed the world. We do this by providing tree and fruit insights to growers, in 18 countries around the world, enabled by drone imagery and artificial intelligence.

We have analysed over 120 million trees and 1 million fruit to date. Our team of 90+ people is based out of Cape Town and we have commercial offices in the USA, Portugal and Australia. Everything that we do and every decision that is made is driven by our Core Values.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or junior marketing professional to gain experience in a fast-paced and exciting scale-up environment. The role is central to the growth of the business and includes supporting all commercial regions globally. The successful candidate will be involved across all B2B marketing functions in the business including, but not limited to administration, event planning, business analysis, digital marketing and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement of marketing materials and merchandise
  • Event co-ordination and planning for webinars, international trade shows, and regional conferences/hosted events
  • Manage social media accounts and contributing to content calendars to ensure consistent engagement
  • Assist with designing and producing marketing materials and content for digital marketing
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM
  • Build lists and target audiences for use in outbound and digital marketing
  • Assist with writing, drafting and sending emails in line with communications strategy
  • Assist with producing product marketing assets (e.g. demos, screenshots, graphics) in line with product marketing strategy
  • Assist with executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, user engagement, and conversion rates across marketing channels
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization
  • Performing market research and analysis to support strategic planning
  • Prospecting commercial regions for potential target accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • BCom Marketing or other business qualification with marketing courses
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical
  • Google sheets/excel proficient
  • Deadline-driven and able to work under pressure
  • Organized and efficient
  • Able to operate in a cross-functional, cross-regional team
  • Additional marketing competencies such as good copywriting, design skills and creativity will be taken into consideration
